It's UPS Air shipping all the way from India. I wish they'd send it by a cheaper method, but at least it's reliable and takes only a few days.

I'm sayin', someone should be a US distributor for this hair...

I know! a distributor would be nice  My first package only took a week, (which was great, especially since I am so inpatient) I was just wondering if someone wanted to go in on an order - since it seems like so many of us are trying the hair

Darn it! I wish I'd read that before I completed my order. I just ordered 8oz of Double Drawn Straight Machine weaving in 20".

If I like the hair I would definiately be down with going in on an order with anyone else who'd like to.

Ya know it's interesting. I have an import and distribution business, as well as a business account with UPS, and that last batch of hair I got cost me $80 in shipping from India!! Whassup with that??? I've been watching all this RK discussion and noticing the flat $40 charge and just kinda shaking my head at how *completely* reasonable/inexpensive it is. Hmmm Neeed to call UPS and find out why they are @#($*ing me so bad. . .

And just FYI: regarding shipping and imports to the USA, especially small ones, there's kind of a "minimum" charge you incur, which doesn't really get mitigated until (as you so aptly point out, Rae) you import in volume. I am equipped to do this. . .hmmmm. . .

I know what you mean Fina, I also import (from Italy) and the costs are outrageous!  It is acctually cheaper for me to fly there and bring it back (if in small quantities)

Do I hear an RK distributor  Fina?
