My hair is naturally wavy but when i used to leave in leave in conditioner overnight it used to go curly

Now due to my hairs layers growing out ie becoming heavier it doesnt work anymore

Anyone know of any products i could use in overnight. would mousse work ? or do i just need a better leave in conditioner

I odn't know of a single product you could use. I always thought I had straight hair until I cut it really short. As it grew back out, I found out I have deep waves in it until it gets just past shoulder length. Then, the weight of the hair pulls them almost totally out. I've never tried to get curly hair personally, so I don't know of anything your could use to add curl to long wavy hair. My suggestion is, go stand in the hair product aisle at the pharmacy and read the labels on the new curl enhancer products until you find one that says it does what you want! The thing about leave in conditioners is that they don't "hold" the shape. If you want something to work on longer hair all day, you'll need a product that can hold it's shape even under the weight of your hair. If you have a friend that's a hair stylist or if there's a har stylist school in your community, you could call them. They would have better answers for you than I do.

Try Matrix Curl.Life.  It's a line of theirs with shampoos, conditioners, and styling aids, and theyre all in green bottles.  I promise you, after one use, your curls will spring!  I used to use it, and i know its weird, but i HATE the smell of it.  My mom loves it, but it smells kind of like cucumber melon or something.  I wish they'd change it, because its hard for me to walk around smelling that in my own hair, but if you feel you can deal, go for it, lol.
Anyway this product will do EXACTLY what you want and what it says.  You will only be able to find it at fine beauty suppliers though, where they sell salon products.  This will never be on the same shelf as Pantene.  For this reason, it is slightly more expensive, but I feel it is worth it.
Try it out!
(BTW, sometimes, if i am unsure of a product, I look for samples on EBay, and if I like those, I will buy them in the store)
Good Luck!
