I haven't used it, but I read all of its reviews and there are many negative reviews claiming that it is cheaply made.  It supposedly works wonders for the first month, and then begins frying and damaging your hair.  The idea behind it is awesome-the steam heat sounds like a dream- but it may be a waste of money because you might just have to purchase it once a month!

I did a search on http://www.folica.com - http://www.folica.com on flat irons and so far it seems as if Solia is the best way to go. Read the thread Sedu vs. Solia on this site. I was researching myself and it seems like that one's a winner for all hair types without the heavy price tag.

I'm going to buy the maxiglide and see how is does my hair. Hopefully my hair will be fine even though it's natural. I just have to find some products to treat and protect my hair from heat damage. Do anyone have any suggestions?
