hey everyone i need help on findin a good curling iron for asian hair..im chinese.. i have a curling iron but it's pretty much a dud since it doesn't even curl right and even when i clamp my hair in it to curl the ends get all messed up..

i want to get like loose curls with waves so any recommendations would be great! thanks!

Sounds like you're actually looking for hair curlers. Curling Irons are more for the "precise" curl that looks nicely constructed. I <3 the revlon ceramic irons. They're really great for my hair-type and fast heat up too.

Also, look at the Caruso Steam Rollers for a set of hair rollers. I've never needed hairspray to keep my curls happy and springy all day once I've used these rollers.

For loose or tight waves, check out Anais's sock-curling technique. I was skeptical at first, but it works really  well!
