Well I tried synthetic (WaWa to be exact) and when it came I thought it was going to be perfect!  So soft and beautiful, looked like real human hair!  Then I installed it and came to the conclusion that synthetic just doesn't work for me.  It's too plasticy and shiny and doesn't blend at all with my natural hair.   I put shine products on my hair to try and make it look like the WaWa, but the texture just won't work.

Now I know that most people here stay away from beauty supply store hair because the quality tend to be crap........hair that turns into a bale of electricuted hay after a few washes.  I too have had my experience with crappy human hair from the beauty supply store, BUT I remember about 6 months ago I bought some human from the beauty supply store and it turned out just marvelous!  It didn't turn to crap at all.   For the life of me though, I can't remember what in the world brand it was.  I think it was around $35-$45.   So if anyone else, like myself, has had good luck with beauty supply store human hair, wouldb you mind telling me the brand?

I know there are good sources of reliable human hair on the internet, and maybe Im being lazy, but I don't want to pay more than $35-$45 for a pack of hair and I also want to be able to match it in person because I change my hair color often (I don't have color rings).  So if anyone has had a good experience with beauty supply human hair, would you mind telling me what brand it was?  Thanks!

Yeah,i have tried beauty supply hair.i had one brand that was really good.It was Hollywood by royal Imex.It stayed nice after many washes.I dont think its good for long term wear. But I've had the hair for over a year and its still in useable condition. Its the only hair I had that stayed perfect straight after washing.Keep in mind though it was almost dark brown and silky straight.I have tried hollywoods curlier textures and those turn to fluff after a few washes.I know the prices of hair seem steep but in the long run it could pay off.I paid $120 for 8 ounces of RK hair(shipping included) and it was the best money I've ever spent on hair. This hair could last me a long time.Plus its alot cheaper than most.I spent $150 on hair awhile back that I threw away as soon As I took it out.I hate wasting money.Thats my longwinded reccomendation, lol.

Bird, I know what you mean, I change hair colors, even shades of blonde, EVERY APPLICATION. lighter, darker, highlights, golder, ashier, lol I have never had luck at a BSS, but I am lazier than you, I don't want to go out to the store! So I buy the fake hair and have my hair colored to match if it's off at all!!!! I've pretty much got it down at PH now, though. Even W/O a color ring.

Good Luck finding what you need. I actually encourage you to find what you want at a BSS then buy it online, you can prolly find it a bazillion dollars cheaper online.

I bought hair at Sally's called Futura Sassy color F4/30 and paid $14.99 for a bag. It blended very nicely with my baby fine hair and I didn't even feel like I was wearing "dolls hair" I bought it to practice with shrinkies, but instead installed it on my own head. The hair is bone straight, didn't shed or tangle at all! I just took it off the other day and I will be able to reinstall using the same hair at a later date.  I wear mainly HH, and the PH just doesn't match or look right on me although I like it.

I've used Sassy Futura, and yes I liked it......pretty good hair, but a tad too shiny for me.   I'm in search of decent human hair at the bss.

Im not sure the website, but I know that the Hair Shopp sells a grade of human hair (Remi 909) at a reasonable price. It is a nice grade of hair, a little thicker than Processed Hair or VIrgin Russian hair, but it is full, and has a nice wave to it, if condidioned and babied it will stay nice for close to 6 months!
GOod Luck
