i have red/orange hair rite now (dyed)

and i wanna dye it light brown (at home)..wud it come up as light brown or some other shade?

has any1 tried it?

Lol, anyway ur best bet would be to use a light ash brown but don't count on it to be really light cuz brown over red might just deepen it, so try a strand test to be sure....usually for a color change pple have to remove the color and then color over it!

well i bleached it and then dyed it red and the red has come out

so thats why it looks all orange

i brought a light brown hair dye 2day..and tested it on a bit of my hair

and it turned black

Ah, so u'll have to remove the color...if u used permanent red then u could use colorfix to remove it since i wouldn't bleach over ur already bleached hair, then u can use the light brown over it, but strand test for both first! It would have been better to use a demi perm. brown color...oh well, hope this helps!

p.s. treat ur hair to weeklt intensive conditioning after this!!!
