Hello although i know this is mostly a haircolor question its in
regards to my extensions. I went for that whole platinum blonde and black in the back and it wored out great i loved it , but the thinng is that i dyes some of my blonde extensions that i had black (too lazy to buy some black Arghhh) and well i did wash it before i put it in my hair and i noticed that when it would be shampooed it would run purple , meaning the water that came from it turned purple much like shimmer lights shampoo does .So i washed my hair altogether and well some of my extension hair and my natural hair in the back have been "toned" by this purpleness. So it now lookes like a very cool ashy greyish platinum blonde hahahah if ya can imagine that , so i was wondering would this eventually wash away with shampoo? as i know some toners do fade away but will this? I knew i shoulda bought some regular black hair

| naa i dont think it will wash away, lighter colours are more pourous and they soak up darker colours very easily, and black dye has a tendency to do that to platinum hair :( |

I don't think it will fade too much either,as Kateadreena said, blonds are super porous. If this happened to me in the salon, I would go straight to the shampoo bowl and mix up a bit of bleach, shampoo, and water are do the infamous 'soap cap' technique. That may take the stain out. I prefer the PHANTOM by Schwarzkopf. NO BLEACH. It's the best! I had a client, a natural level 5 {brown} who dyed her hair jet black. | if the stain isn't to dark you could use a blond color shampoo like artech sun flower or eaven a little darker toner. if you try to remove the stain you could end up lightning the black too, so maybe a darker blond to cover the stain would be better. |
