Does anyone know if you can get fibers in different colors to braid hair with? I remember back in 96' i saw some lady w/ pretty lilac braids, well that was the color of the fiber...Anyway has anyone seen them in colors like turquoise, red, purple etc..?

Or if i wanted to get my hair braided, would the salons that specialize in braiding generally have these different colors available? Lol i'm thinking of getting my whole head braided to avoided flat ironing it since my hair is so horribly frizzy when i don't do anything to it!

Thanx!

You sure can get these colors. Go to the hair extension boards for lists of suppliers and loads of discussions.

Lots of the ladies on that board buy their own hair to have installed. If you want something that's different, there's no reason why a salon would have it in stock. Not every salon will do this, but many will.

I've seen colors like neon green, red, yellow, blue in a local beuaty supply store around here.  Maybe you can ask around there.
