Hi I just got doclocs microrings and they are sooo tiny.  I've been practicing closing and opening them and boy are they easy to smash up.  I have no idea what size they are they came with a kit.

What does everyone else use? I see a lot use extendtube.  What size is best for doing wefts and what size is best for strand by strand? One other silly question --has anyone tried doing strand by strand with tubes or rings using deep wave human hair?  When you are making your own tipped hair for these about how much hair do you usually use?  It seems to be a little harder to gauge with curly hair because you have to break up the curls. Im afraid of putting too much hair on the tip and really long curly remy tipped hair seems to be impossible to find.

I love to work with M microrings for strand by strand. My friend uses S microrings for wefts.... and one of my mom's friend, she does hairextensions in her salon, she only works with S rings, because they are super small and so you dont have that strand-by-strand look...

Have never used deep wave hair, but I use curly indian templehair.... That looks more natural than factory deep wave texture...
