ok, i been wanting an texturizer for a long time.

I WANNA KNOW IF THIS TYPE WILL WORK, BECAUSE IVE TRIED LUSTERS KIT, AND IT DIDNT WORK. I WANT IT TO LOOK LIKE THE SINGER BOBBY VALENTINOS TEXTURIZER, AND I WAS WONDERIN IF ANYONE KNOW IF THIS ONE ACTUALLY WORKS, AND IS WORTH BUYING TO GET MY HAIR CURL LIKE BOBBY VALENTINOS TEXTURIZER, HELP WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

my hair is corse, i had braids for like 2 years, and i just cut my hair i say about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks ago, and for now im using 360 wave pomade so i can have waves for now, but, once my hair grows a lil bit higher thats when im getting the texturizer. help would be greatly appreciated, also, if i goto a salon, what do i tell them i just want my hair like bobby v's , and they'll do it for me. i first think they'd want me to bring them this product i guess im clueless on this

first of all dont do it. second of all dont use pomade especially if u dont have waves. third if u do do it, i'd go to a salon and get it done. and bobby v's are natural fam he has that kinda hair, i do too it dont look good on me though.

Lol, Bobby Valentino's hair isn't natural. I saw him this weekend in Atlanta and he had a fro. I also saw him on the BET awards and he had a fro.

If you want curls I know a natural method to get them. The best texturizer to use is the Botanicals kind. I know it has a woman on the box but trust me it's the best brand out because I've tried them all. After a week or so you hair will go back to a somewhat natural state and it won't leave your hair nearly as straight as the "male" texturizers will after the chemicals have worn off.

No there are hair relaxers that have lye in them that will turn you hair red and do the most damage to it. And then there are relaxers that are made from natural ingredients that are less harmfull. Phyto index 2 is made of plant exstracts that are very very popular with many hair salons. Many celebs use Phyto index 1 or 2.

Me, I use scurl or Sporin Waves. Don't, I repeat don't leave it on for the full time. It will straighten your hair too much for waves. I use them to soften my hair so I can develope waves. Do not use a kit to get waves. Use it to start the process of getting waves. Brushing and pomade is your best way to get waves.

which has no lye or no mix  it's made with plant extracts it shouldnt harm my hair right?

and since i put the lusters one in, like a couple days b4 signing up for this forum how long do you think it will take for the chemicals to wear off, or do they wear off if i just cut my hair????????????

Cuase he wants to take a short cut and cut about 3 to 4 weeks off of hair brushing.  It can be done without messing up your hair.

Just like there are methods for getting waves, there are methods for soften or straighten your hair so you can get waves. But you have to know what you are doing and what the outcome will be.

if i grow my hair outits naturaly like that but i dont no why any one would want there hair like that

"Natural" relaxers are just as bad...no matter what extract they still have a chemical effect, think of the Copa infomercials (said to be an edible product) that was "natural" yet, it turned peoples hair green and made some peoples hair fall off.

If you want a kit make sure to read the directions, make sure to go to the professional, make sure that you ask questions and that they do a strand test (remove a strand of hair from your head and place the chemical on the strand)...there is no guarantee your hair will be curly or straight. All these styles come with risk of not getting what you want. Make sure to ask how to mantain the style after you get it...a kit/texturizer/relaxer calls for alot of moisturizing.  

P.S. Alot of  chemicals are dangerous, such as fire and oxygen but put together than can be dangerous.
