I know that a really good "french knife" used for general cutting of food can cost over $100.00. I believe the same is true for a pair of scissors used to cut hair. When cuttting your own hair the thing to remember is that the scissors should be as sharp as possible to make a clean cut. You can usually buy scissors at a Beauty Supply store but I would ask your stylist where he/she got their pair. Good luck -------------
