I received my Wimex iron today and it works great for fusion. I
use keratin pellets, and i just pop a pellet in the iron 'groove' and
squeeze to melt then attach it to hair. Don't think I'll ever go back
to using da pot again!

"making"? lol. Nah, I bought online ?somewhere? years ago. They were sold in 1 lb container for around $10. I'd been tossing a handful iin the melting pot to melt, til i got my wand today and realized I could just pop a pellet in the wand. I'm sure they are easy to find. Here's pix.    ------------- K-B |

| I just bought a melting pot at Joanns fabric store .It came with a little bag of glue pelets that look like those. I once tryed the craft glue sticks but they didn't stick to the hair. |

It was "sold" as "hair extension keratin adhesive." I remember the product description said to remove from hair using acetone, so i figured i'd give them a try. It came out easy. I don't know if it's actually keratin or not, but it seems to perform as keratin does ------------- K-B |

oh AMM, the pellets are pretty small. When i drop one on the floor, i have to HUNT it 'fo the cats find it.

| I have a question about keratin. I once had to remove great lenghths which is Keratin and acetone did not work well at all !I was told to use A high prof alcohol. So would that not be a way to test for keratin? |
