Silicone is for use in links; keratin you can use for fusion.

Heyya Broom... I answered this regardiding my experience with EP EZ plugs (silicone tips) http://www.hairboutique.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=32302&KW=Gina+E&PN=0&TPN=2 - http://www.hairboutique.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=32302& amp;KW=Gina+E&PN=0&TPN=2

I'm sure the same applies for RK, only EP is more expensive.

By going this route I've experienced less shedding and I can reuse them...but I have less control over sizing.
