I'm interested in getting my hair bleached(just this last time for a while).  My last experience I had a trusted friend do it.... this time around I think I'd prefer it professionally done.  I intend to call around and get exact prices but with everyone's past experience, how much, on average, does a professional bleaching usually cost?  I'm just trying to get an idea to see if I'll have enough as is, and just factor it into to my "hair planning".

It really depends on how "high-end" the salon is. For instance, i know that Fantastic Sams charges $50-55 for bleaching whereas somewhere upscale would prob charge around $90 for what they call a 'double process' (bleach +tone) but it really depends, the important to remember is that just becuz a salon is expensive does not guarantee them doing a good job of it, but i wouldn't know how good fant. sams would be either. So before booking an appt. at a reputable salon u might wanna ask around to others who've had their hair bleach for recommendations and def. consult different stylists before taking the plunge u can see how much they know abt bleaching.
