@both- Thanks about the http://   I fixed it.

Renee- in the updated pic the flower is fake. There was a Michigan chain that was going out of business so I picked up some flowers for like 30 cents.  I have too much hair for head bands...I have tried different ones and they litterally fly off of my head.

@Sistaslick- thanks, it does save alot of shampoo/conditioner instead of wasting it in the shower/sink/tub.

Thanks everyone!

It was a while ago but if I remember correctly it was...style hair in a protective style (braids, twists etc)

2) Only  manipulate your hair at the max 2 times a month. This included the washing and detangling.

3) Trie to use your fingers instead of tools to manipulate

4)No heat

5) Find time to do other things more productive, hang with family, clean the house, read a book etc.

I think thats it.

Sorry to pop back up  I have the correct rules to the protective style challenge.

The "rules" for the challenge were as follows:
- minimal to no manipulation for an entire month
- if you were keeping twists in, you could only redo them every 2 weeks
- no combs
- don't buy any new products
- use the free time you have to put your focus on other things besides hair  :)

Cmesweet OMG!! Your hair is so pretty and thick! I love it! Does it get tangled when you wear it out like that? How do you keep it moisturized? It's very pretty.

Thank you Honeydoo.  If I wear it consistantly out it would get tangled. That's one reason I stick to protective styles. But all I have to do is use my usual (olive oil and conditioner) WIDE tooth comb and it the tangles will come right out, ummm after using my fingers.  I keep it moisturized by doing conditioner washes or just rinsing with water. I believe the method conditioner (cheap conditioner with an oil)-wash (diluted shampoo)-conditioner (reconstructioner/repair) method also helps retain the moisture, which I do once a week.
