Hey, I had a Revlon straightener (not ceramic) which just suddenly stopped working for me. I was wondering if anyone who's happy with their current straightener, could suggest one that I could buy at any nearby store such as Target. Any suggestions?

Hey, I bought a ceramic plated Conair from wal-mart last year for $32 canadian which i really like. Tip, if you have a fair amount of hair to straighten buy the larger sized one like i did. My bf bought the smaller one and it's basiclly useless because it's so small

Jilbere de Paris cermaic iron works wonders just like a very expensive iron such as True Ceramic Pro.  It has 30 heat settings up to 446 degrees F.  I have extremely thick long hair and I use the highest setting (30).  My hair is very sleek and I love it.  I got mine at a local Sally Beauty store and it was on sale for only $37.

My HAI 2 goes up to 400F, but always wonder if thats too much even tho i also have thick hair. But i feel that setting really works wonders on keeping it straight...

Get a Sedu at Folica.com. You won't believe the difference. Yes it is expensive but worth it. You can even try the Solia. It is supposed to be just as good and it is cheaper. For me there is no other like Sedu. After a year, it still makes my hair beautifull and super straight, and no damage. You can't put a price on that.
