Firstly, Leelee Sobieski is a beautiful young woman with some enormous talent. Her hair is probaly one of her best features, but I was just curious, has Leelee ever changed her hairstyle? I've never seen a different style, or even colour on Leelee.

Not wanting to be mean here, but in alot of her pictures, her hair doesn't appear to be in the best condition. And recently I found this comment about her on smokingsides.com

http://www.gawker.com/topic/gawker-stalker-bronson-pinchot-rules-015355.php - "Leelee Sobieski, on Saturday April 17 on the sidewalk outside of Penn Station. She swanned past, wearing the last pink pashmina on Earth and she was smoking a cigarette. Wish she would cut that lanky hair. Bangs, something!", website, Apr. 17, '04

I read years ago that she has collected locks of hair from all of her co-stars.  Here's an excerpt from USA Today magazine a couple of years ago:

Have you added anyone's locks to your hair collection lately? Who?
"I have Drew Barrymore's. Lately, I added Maximilian Schell, Shirley MacLaine, Peter O'Toole, Olympia Dukakis and Peter Strauss."

What do you keep them in?
"Whatever package they're packed in at the original place. I don't bring some specific little plastic bag that I have all the hair samples in. Stanley Kubrick's hair is in the envelope that he sealed that I haven't opened yet. So his is remaining in that envelope. Most of the time I have them say this is my hair, or they just sign their autograph on the envelope to authenticate it."

And here's a link to the article:

I agree that she needs to do something; she's had the long, parted in the middle thing forever.  Her website, http://www.leeleesobieski.com/ - http://www.leeleesobieski.com/  has this picture from a movie she's filming or has filmed, "Heaven's Fall."

Here's the obligatory WireImage link which show her with long dirty, very dirty in fact, blonde hair:

She's very comoftable in herself and how she looks. That's why she stays the way she is. I wish i could do that....
I never found anything about her appealing, besides that fact.

She's a pretty girl, and I like the way she seems so composed and self-assured.  Unfortunately, her hair is quite bad, yes.  Besides the fact it just hangs there doing nothing, it also makes her look like a schoolgirl. . . at an age where she should be trying to define herself as a woman. . . not the best move, I'd think.

I like her hair although she seems to have cut a considerable amount of it recently. It's still long though.

Where's she from? Eastern Europe?

I'm not sure fatmoogas, but she does have an exotic look. On the other hand, she looks abit like a young Helen Hunt.

Didn't say it was. I just said that it's quite a bit shorter than it was in the pictures Beautifulinblue posted where is was about waist-length.

I agree with Bambilee if she likes her hair as she has it then why mess with it. If's it's not broken don't fit it.

I think she is one of the most effortless-looking actresses out there. I think she looks great - if flat hair suited me as well, IŽd be real happy!

I think Leelee is one woman who needs long straight hair to bring out her beauty. Both the bobbed new movie pic and the Wireimage long curls make appears rather ordinary. I hope she really didn't hack it for the movie, but it looks real to me. She really WAS one of my very favorites! Sadly, Bob

She wears a wig for a movie and she's no longer one of your favorites?

Was it a wig?

I read an interview a few years ago where she professed a love for short hair
and different colors. She said she'd never cut her hair short, but that she had
a wig collection with a lot of different short cuts. Of course, she's 23 and it's
a woman's right to change her mind.

Our very own Jerky Flea posted the interview with her.

Nah, Dave, I'm only talking hair here. *If* it's a wig, she remains a favorite. (lol) I don't take celeb hair discussions too seriously. Bob
