Hi

I have very boring dull hair - a bit brassy, about 3 different colours in it from high/low lights. It is mainly light brown/dark blond with a few lighter parts in it. My roots are coming in (I'm naturally medium brown) and it looks disgusting.

I would like to go a nice light shade, something like Jessica Simpsons colour. My hair is very processed though - I had a botched Yuko job done on it and had most of it cut off

I am wondering if anyone could recommend something I could do myself, as I am really short on cash just now.

Try an at-home bleach like Loreal Feria but remember to do a strand test
on it ahead of time so you know what you will be getting your hair into
and you can scrap it if the condition of the hair is worse than what you
want to put up with... as long as you haven't had any metallic dye put on
recently. I'll let the experts take it from here.
