I'm about to install the Fina hair.  What shampoos do you reccomend I use?  Should I wash it before I install it?

Hi Mocha:
I washed mine because I colored it! But yes I would wash it first. You can get a feel for how it is and decide what kind of shampoo would work best. In general, gentle shampoos are better for extensions. I've been using Jason Organics Shampoo for colored hair, but have also had good results with any of the "better" shampoos such as Aveda and Nioxin.

I washed mine before I put it in with Pantene shampoo and used the conditioner except close to the head. The color of the Fina hair (black) wasn't blending as well as I thought with my other hair, so I actually used one of those color that lasts up until 24 shampoos while it was installed! I just treat all my human hair equally. Works for me!

What method are you going to use? With the rest of my Fina hair I'm going to color it and make clip-ins. When are you going to do your hair?
