I have successfully installed HH extensions with shrinkies.  The HH was pretipped, but I also put a coat of liquid gold on some of them -- and left some without the LG just to see the difference.  There seems to be a lot of glue or residue or something below the end of the shrinkies that is very stiff and that I am not used to having had hairlocs.  So, is it supposed to be like this, and can I use shrinkie residue remover to loosen it up?

As always, thanks for your help!

I'm pretty sure thats normal. When I did shrinkies I noticed to glue came out of both ends a bit.I wouldnt put that remover however anywhere near your shrinkies if you are planning on wearing them for awhile.Plus that extra glue will more and likely loosen up with regular washing.Although I could be wrong.

I got the same thing when I tipped over with LG it bubbled out the ends. The friend I did this to for some reason has lost all the shrinks that had the LG but not the ones I didn't use it on. Now Im afraid to put LG on my tips. I thought it would give a better hold
