You know how asian guys hair, it tends to look like a flat level surface (other than frizz), where each hair is lined up, so to speak? How do you separate the hairs and make it more texturized, so that it looks more like hair rather than a black tissue lying on your head?

Maybe use a wide tooth comb and some gel?

i know what youre talking about! i have typical asian boy hair other than the
fact that it's brown. (not black). what i did once was get a perm and it made
all my hair go down! but since its really expensive (and embarrasing ) i
use a curling iron at home. it sounds kinda stupid for a guy to sit in front of
the mirror with one of those things but you can get a really nice dry messy
effect that's usually REALLY hard to get with asian hair.

grow it longer and used high quality and high hold factor gel or wax. i have seen lots of chinese guys where i come from with those really nice separated hair.
