I first started by watching my barber, and asking him questions. First you have to start by shaping up your self during the summer time so you dont go to school looking busted. then you have to ask friends that dont care about how they present themselves if they would like for you to shape them up.

Make sure you have a three facu mirror so you dont get stuck on the back like i first did.

But most of it is trial and error.

A steady hand playa, you need a steady hand and practice. I been cutting my hair since I was about 12 or 13 years old. So I have had plenty practice. Get some practice in by cutting your homeboys hair or some person that need a cut but don't want to pay for it.

The edge ups and lines are hard to do the first dozen or so times. But with practice holding your hand still and staying focused you can learn. Don't give up because you will get better with time.

if you use a beard and mustache trimmer, its easier to control when ur givin urself a shape up. "andis" is also one of the closest shavin pair of clippers that i know of. so once ur skilled enuff, u can edge urself up wit a pair of those.
