Also, Is PG (Propylene Glycol) bad for your hair??!! I have no idea what to beleive!!

This site indicates that PG is bad! (read #4) http://www.nappturality.com/modules/wfsection/article.php?articleid=22 - http://www.nappturality.com/modules/wfsection/article.php?ar ticleid=22

But site indicates that it's not! (first paragraph) http://ourhair.net/content/view/26/40/1/4/ - http://ourhair.net/content/view/26/40/1/4/

Propylene glycol isn't dangerous unless you do 40 shots of it . The amount in your cosmetics is negligible.

Have you tried aloe vera gel? The 100% aloe gel won't clog your follicles or anything.

Have you tried any Ouidad gels?  I'm not sure if they have mineral oil in them, but they are great for curly hair (and all hair types).  Even if a gel has m.o. in it, just don't rub it into your scalp, and you'll be ok.  Also, if you use a clarifying shampoo ocassionally, then that will clean your hair of the m.o.'s.

Well I went to shaws and found this gel called super shine styling gel. It never gets hair or stiff and it conditions. But it has mineral oil so at the end of the day i rinse it out.
