Well, I did it.  I wrote to HairTalk a week or so ago stating I wanted to cover some gray and the highlighted ends of my hair.  I went and had more of the ends trimmed off and am wearing a short bob style.  I asked my stylist if it would be OK if I were to use a semi permanent color in my hair.  She said yes.  I went and purchased Natural Instincts in a Medium Brown and LOVE it!  It's just a little darker than my natural brown, but it looks SO much better.  The stray gray hairs in the temple and front area aren't poking out and the blonde highlighted ends are now brown.  I am SO glad I did it!
