Hey, I`m a guy, and I have just decided to grow my hair long, the only thing is, my hair has recently thickened up a bit, and is getting a bit `bouffy`, plus I think it`s starting to curl a little. Would it still be a good idea for me to grow my hair? Also, how long would it have to be before it actually looked decent?

Hmm, I don`t know. Back in the `70s, when my dad tried to grow his hair, that happened to him. He hated it and chopped it all off.

However, you could try calming it down with once or twice a week deep conditioning, or daily regular conditioning. You could also try one of those "hair calming" shampoos that will take down the body of your hair some.

All you can do is wait and see--hair is an unpredictable thing.
