Allo, I got my RK hair today, and took some pics.  I wanted to get a picture of the length, so of course that ment I couldnt find my measuring tape.  The hair is in good condition, save about 4 inches on the ends, but I expected that, thats why I ordered 28 inches long.  Im not sure if its 28 inches long exactly, but it IS really friggin long!  Its also color #4, a bit too light for me but I plan on using a demi perm. color to tone it down.

Thats the hair as it arrived, I got 4 packages but opened one right away

Here's the 4 pack line up

Pic of the shine

More shiney goodness

Close up shot

Weft lined up with the length of the hair

... part 2

thats what the weft looks like when you split it.  If I install wefts I prefer to split them first, 6 thinner wefts looks more natural then 3 larger ones, and they are UBER thin when you do it that way, I can actually be stroked on my head and you cant feel the wefts.

Ends are a lil skanky

Naked weft on the scale

Well, thats about it :)

P.S. hope you dont mind the watermarking

I was a blonde lol

And most machine wefts can be split down the middle, but not handmade wefts.

Kalika,  I know this is off topic for this space, but I just found my info on Fake Bake.   The web site is http://www.fakebake4salons.com - www.fakebake4salons.com   If you are interested in airbrush make-up, I've been checking out a personal line of airbrush make up and systems called Uslu Airlines, which you can find with a simple search.  I think they retail through Barneys, but they were going to sell online direct.  There is also Dinair, but I'm not very excited about their product.

If you can't get the tanning solution without a license, I'll buy some for you.  FYI  all the solutions have different coloring.  I had to try three before I found one that suited my skin tone, but once you know, bobsyeruncle.  Cheers.

Kalika -  love the watermarking

scotchy - isn't that the same as http://www.fakebake.com - http://www.fakebake.com ??

I don't see any airbrush, I did just order from them last week though

I think it is the same  I just put up the info I had from where I bought the solution,  you can get an airbrush/compressor anywhere, I got mine at airhead airbrushes online.  The thing is to find a good solution, that's what I was referring to.  Their airbrush tanning solution is good imo.

You can split the wefts by using a razor blade.  Just be careful you don't cut the hair!

Nice hair Kalika. Love the watermark! I was trying to read the tag, is that Silky straight? Does it wave at all when u air dry?

I split tracks with my [retired] x-acto knife. It's tiny and sharp.

Took me a minute to realize that wasnt your typical everyday watermarking, lol. The pictures look pretty good.Your right about the ends.I know I got 26" and after trimming off two inches the hair looked much better. Is that weight right?I dont know how much you ordered so did you get what you paid for? I'm interested to see how this batch wears. Are you going to do bonded wefts again?

I got my order today, too, and I think we ordered at the same time - around 7/23. Usually it takes MUCH less than a week, but this one took a day over a week. I got in touch with CCNOW and they said the shipments were delayed because of monsoons in India last week.

Those pictures are an excellent representation of the #4 - see how it's light and has a red tinge to it? That's exactly the color my #4 was. And the #2 is darker and a bit less red, although still has a touch of red to it.

Using a demi on that hair will turn out great for you, Kalika. It's really pretty pretty hair - thick and shiny.

Best watermark ever. Should get the message across, but you never know with these idiots.

Hey Kalika,

What do RK stand for? The hair looks beautiful. I was thinking about purchasing some Bohyme. Do you still have the hair on hand.

If anyone know of a company that sells Bohyme or something close to the quality, please advise.

Cya!

Actually its a little light on the scale,  4 ounces of hair should be about 110 grams
