Can't decide between the 2. I heard maxiglide pulls, damages hair, but for some reason I really want it. Solia has only good reviews but seems like a regular straightener. Please help if u have 1 of them

Wow, I know this is a little late, but I haven't been here in a long time. Do not get the Maxiglide. Not only is it more expensive, but in the long run it will damage your hair. That burst of steem they rave about so much is actually very damaging to the hair shaft, and not worth the results. I personally own a Sedu, which I love and could not live without. Even my $350 bioionic flat iron can come close to it. It is in my closet somewhere. However I hear the Solia is just as good, and people who have tried them both say they are practically the same. I would buy the Solia (or in my case the Sedu) any day over the maxiglide; it is a superior product.
