ok, i dyed my hair two weeks ago with a semi-permanent color called
expresso brown. i didn't want to go permanent in case i didn't like it...this
was sort of my test run. and i liked it, except it has faded quite a bit
already (it was supposed to come out in 28 washes, so the results thus far
aren't that surprsing...) so i don't know whether i should use the same
stuff or if i should use a different dye. if i use a different dye is that bad
for my hair??? if i go perment on top of this semi permanent will it turn
out some crazy color??? here are some pics:

I used Expresso Brown on my bleached blonde hair when I had my hair accident and it washed out by the time the month was over.
The Red will always poke through, I had the same problem, I used to dye my hair red, then I started going back to my natural sable color and the red always poked through.
However as to your question about dying it with diffrent brands of dye, I dont' know if it will damaged, I've used every color and every brand under the sun.
I find Feria' is very tough and sticks pretty good, and Lorael' Preference works pretty good too. As to it ruining my hair, I can't say, it stayed the same shape for years, until I started bleaching it. So, no I doubt it.

Yeah, I recommend L'Oréal Féria Espresso 40 for you. I dyed my mom's
hair that color and she has gray streaks in the front of her head... they
didn't turn out orange like the story sometimes goes! Féria is always my
first choice for myself and advice for others.
