I have to say I am not fond of her hair after she cut it. Liked the longer a whole lot more. Her are som of her do's.

This post took so long to do. The site with the pics is not working right today.

Plain??? How does the mid-length style make her look any more plain than the first or third picture? The only one of the bunch that pops is the red. I like the mid-length cut.

In no way does she look "plain".

The long red hair with bangs looks nice. Don't like any of the other pics at all.

Wow! I have a new favourite hair colour. She looks so chubby in some of those pics, it's adorable. Horribly thin in comparison in the second last. Looks like she's putting on weight again, don't like the hair as much, but it's a cute style.

I have mixed feelings. First, WOW! She's an absolute knockout in those
new pictures on Wireimage. i think her shorter, curlier hair looks fantastic
on her, and I'm a fan of the dress too. I truly wouldn't have recognized
her without her name in the caption, and I think she could teach other
blondes that a coy smile and a little cleavage is (IMHO) so much sexier
than bare bellies and flip-flops.

Still, even though she's lost weight and looks fantastic, there's something
a bit.... generic about it. She doesn't look like Sarah anymore, like she's
lost a bit of her personality. I'm not saying she should put the weight
back on, but I wonder if she'd consider a return to that fire-red hair that
was a large part of her signature look. Keep it short though. :-)

Funny how going blonde makes some women stand out, and others blend
in...

Picture 3 is definatly best...

Vicky I agree with you three is the best. I was thinking the wire image pics recalls a few actress she looks like Kristen D (Spider-man 1 and 2.)Plays MJ. That is what I was thinking.

Dave, I guess you don't spend much around soccer moms or mini vans.  If you did you would know they generally have longer hair that's always pulled up in a ponytail!  But if thats what you call soccer mom hair, I'll take that over school girl hair any day.  In fact, I always wondered if maybe that what "some" of you guys like about long middle/high school looking hair?

Wow! I need to spend more time around soccer moms! The cut/style in the last picture is the best and the color in the second is great on her.

While the long red hair really worked for her (and me), I can see why she changed. That look will forever be tied in to a character on a TV show. (I assume her show was cancelled.) She no doubt wants to go in another direction. At least we have reruns.

Here's a link to an article about her look.

Actually, it's ana article on an ABC party and she's mentioned at the end.

Well, some short hair people always seem to stick to short hair so much, it's pathetic and pretentious, and did I mention annoying? The length of hair you normally like won't always be the best on someone. I'm a long hair person but I'm still going to try a short style because I like it.

And what's this about "schoolgirl hair"? That doesn't even make sense. You're just trying to slap a silly insult on something you don't like in an attempt to demean it. How can you even attempt to show how it's schoolgirl hair? Is all long hair schoolgirl hair? Cutting off your hair is a sign of maturity, I suppose? Hah.

And why did she loose the weight! Argh! I'm going nuts. An attractive large woman and she lost the weight just because. She looked much better before. f**k you diet pushers. I'm really getting pissed now that there are no nice large celebrities :(

Well aren't we in bad mood today... opinions?  we all have them, they all stink.... and because she didn't want to be fat anymore...i mean "large"

Posted By: Rosalie
Date Posted: August 03 2005 at 4:01pm
I don't see how she was "fat". And she seemed to be perfectly happy with herself before.

I don't find skinny figures more attractive than pudgy ones. Nor do most humans naturally. Damn society.

You're right, Hal, I don't spend any time around soccer moms or minivans.  No offense to soccer moms...

I simply dont perceive long hair to be "middle/high school hair."  You do - fine.  I don't - that's okay too.

I think that if she really was happy with being abit larger she would have stayed like that. Now she is in fact thinner, and I can only asume that she wanted to lose weight. Ofcourse media and hollywood puts pressure on celebritys, but they do on us normal people aswell. One can only speculate as to why she lost her weight.

About the hair again... I just think she looked alot better with longer hair, thats all. I think that she has a round face (like my self) and that the shorter cut with the curls only brings that out even more..

I think she was beautiful as a fuller figured woman as well as now, a leaner, healthier woman.  I will have to say that I do like her hair better long and fiery red but the new cut and color is very flattering too.  She just looks good all the time.

Vicky's right. Short hair for round faced people is not flattering.

I have to disagree with the "healthier" part, it's somewhat of a lie spread by dieticians that extra weight is always bad for you. Some people are indeed healthier at "hefty" weights, and being fat(moderately so, anyway) is actually only unhealthy for those that have issues that make it so. There are some minor health issues that can't be avoided - but if you're in any way active, it's generally not an issue.

I'm about 50 pounds heavier than I used to be, and not really any less fit. I was always a bit unhealthy though, I am right now but not due to my weight.

Sara with some of the most delightful roots I've ever seen. Ugh!

If you can't keep up with the color, why color at all?

I guess we're supposed to notice her weight loss, not her hair.

I am one of the rare people who doesn't care much about roots, unless you've got them like out to the ears or something :-P .  The thing I'm noticing most is how long and pointy her chin looks!  I never really noticed it when she was bigger, but now it looks weird.

I agree with Rosalie here.

Have you ever seen Bram Stroker's Dracula???

When he comes to the door and had had all his white hair pinned up.

You know how old Dracula was?

Really really old. and he had long hair.

So he had to be plenty mature for his age, yet he still had long white hair.

And I bet if he had a show on ABC it would last longer then Less The Perfect did.

In the first 3 pics, hair hair is wearing her.  I mean, it just hangs there.  The last pic with the long hair is obviously enhanced with some underextensions.

The short looks good, but I think it is becasue she is so obviously happy with herself. Iread somewhere that she feels so much better, more energy and more in control of herself now that she  has implemented a healthier lifestyle.

Whoever said that extra weight does not affect how healthy you are may want to do a little research.  I am a healthy person and when I was pregnant, even the extra 20 pounds I had to carry during the pregnancy made my back and knees ache. Carrying around any extra weight takes a toll on your organs and joints over time.

I think the main problem here is that the Diet Nazis rely on the people that extra weight does hurt and apply it to everyone. There are many, many people who are perfectly comfortable with extra weight, you can often tell it by just looking at their figure. The shape of Ms. Rue's chin in that picture shows that she was built to carry more weight than she does now.

Really, I don't see how 20 pounds could cause problem. There was a time when I weighed at least 20 pounds less, and it doesn't really feel that different, except for having a bigger belly and a bit of cushion on my arse.
