do you mean strong protein treatments or the light ones? there are so many but these are the ones i have used and liked

strong:

aphogee - really strong and might break your hair if you dont follow the instructions or if your hair doesnt like proteins

nexxus emergencee - i heard its really good but its too expensive

joico k-pak reconstructor - i would classify this as a medium protein treatment. i love it and it smells like bananas

salerm wheat germ oil hair mask - i would classify this as medium too. it was alright. i prefer the joico

light:

nexxus keraphix - the best light protein treatment ive ever used

leave ins - tigi bed head ego boost. this product single handedly saved my ends when i was relaxed. i use a very tiny amount cos if you use too much, it'll break your hair and cause splits. so you have to be careful

in fact, you have to be careful with proteins cos some people's hair likes protein while some can only do light protein and their hair will break from overload of protein. some people's hair can handle any amount of protein. you just have to work with your hair and find out what works for you. HTH.

Thanks Renee, i think i'll just stick to the light protein treatments for now, to see how my hair reacts to them

Can't you counteract protein with following up the treatment with a good moisturizer? I know that too much isn't good for the hair and if you do a protein treatment that you have to moisturize, moisturize and moisturize some more.

If you do a protein treatment make sure to use a moisturizing conditioner afterward to soften the hair.  Sometimes protein can make the hair hard and dry.  I use Ion and Hask Placenta protein treatments...followed up with Dove, Finesse or Pantene.

I like Profective Growth Masque-it's a deep conditioner w/ a mixture of protein and moisture

Motions CPR deep conditioning treatment is also a deep conditioner w/ a mixture of protein and moisture

Elasta QP breakage control serum is a light protein treatment
