| Anyone have any good suggestions on how to remove coconut oil from your hair. I kinda put a tad too much and it sucks. I've had 3 showers already and cant seem to rise it all out. any suggestions?:) |

Was it pure coconut oil? or was it a "coconut oil product"? (ETA a product that contains coconut oil might contain other hard-to-remove stuff such as petrolatum.) A good lather with a sulfate shampoo really SHOULD get it out, namely any shampoo from a drugstore. I don't see why it shouldn't work. I used 2 tablespoons of coconut oil per wash for 4+ months. Your hair is also very very long. If you put too much coconut oil in the entire length, then of course you'll have to lather up all of it.
