I will like to color my hair . I have the hair dye from Nice and Easy. I am wondering if it is good to color with very dry hair.I want to go a little lighter than my natural color. Clairol recommended the product and color. Has anybody color their hair with dry hair at home? Is their any suggestion that you might have.

Most colors' instructions will tell you to use it on dry unwashed hair (not wet).  If you have a very dry scalp you may want to wait an extra day without washing your hair to get some natural oil on your scalp to help protect it from the chemicals in the dye.

Also, most box colors come with a conditioner to use afterwards that will
protect your hair and restore it back to its natural balance. One reason I
prefer box over salon.

do a strand test to make sure your scalp dont act up =x
