$13 isn't that much. I have to pay $18 for MAC eyeshadow! I always
stock up when I go to the states cuz their foundations are literally
twice the price out here :( And yet, the people at the MAC shops here
still know me by name..that's how much I'm in the store!
I generally use MAC because I trust the quality but I also use Red Earth and Sheseido and Pupa.
Speaking of MAC, does anyone here use their skin tint moisturiser? I'm
thinking of trying it and wanted to get someone else's opinion.

i use the skin tint moisturizer.. i love it! it makes your skin
look dewey.. but make sure you don't put too much on, otherwise it
could come off as greasy.

I use Covergirl and Estee Lauder. I don't get that much from the latter since it is so pricy, I just splurge every once and a while like on a lipstick or blush. I mostly use Covergirl for day to day.

Clinique Blush, Burt's Bees lip balm, mostly covergirl for mascara (I love
their professional with the rounded tip and the waterproof works
awesome) and then Wet 'n' Wild Pressed Powder for foundation. I'm very
diverse

I use Dermablend concealer, various other brands. Now I'm interested in the MAC makeup you all are discussing. How is there skin care and face makeup? I've been looking for a good illuminator but was wondering how there face makeup was?

Hey Elvira!
I haven't used any of Mac's skin care products except when I've gotten
my makeup done. But whenever I do get my makeup done, I really like how
my skin feels:)
I've used a bunch of their foundations. My favorite one is the studio
fix . It's a powder but it has great coverage. I once used
glycolic acid to burn a zit on my nose (long story, but seriously this
was like a planet sized zit) and I ended up with a huge scab-type
thing. The studiofix covered it brilliantly! I was really surprised
since I thought a cream wouldve covered better. And it really does last
all day. I was working a ten hour shift and I would still have it on
when I washed my face at night.
I use their hyper-real now. I like it cuz its shimmery but its subtle
and it makes your skin look soo soft. But I don't find the coverage as
good.
Um, Ive used alot more , but I don't want to take up a lot of space!:)
In short, I DO recommend their face products. My girlfriend said it
made her break out, but she doesn't use cleanser because she thinks
that makes her face break out too, so I don't know..:)

Has any one use Physicians Formula?? I'm deciding on if I should
buy the product. My skin is very oily and I want a makeup that
helps with my skin and prevents any breakouts or clogged pores.

Well I got my Grand Prize from Physicians Formula. I've entered a
sweepstakes a while ago when I was at their website doing a little
research on whether to buy this product. As you seen me in
previous posts, I was asking questions about the product and
getting advice. I was so excited to hear that I won (NO strings
attached). I have never won anything online before. It
arrived at my house today and I can't believe how much makeup was in my
nicely sized carry on suitcase (Hideo Wakamatsu Design, its pink and
from Japan). The Grand Prize has a retail value of $585 in
makeup. I am set for life with makeup from Physicians
Formula. AWESOME !!

I'm supposed to be using Avon stuff, 'cause I've been trying to help a friend sell it (we seem to suck at it, though. . . there must be some secret formula to big sales and lots of customers, but we don't know it yet :-( ) and she scolds me if I buy any other kind of make-up :-P . But since I'm not really into make-up, and mostly just wear lipgloss, I like the little kiddie Bonne Bell stuff ^_^ .

I like Merele Norman's. When I go to the mall I go in and have a work over. The gal cuts loose and has a blast on me. Always doing something different. I love all the fuss. Found out I can wear several colors. She usually does a three way. Gorgeous. Last week I was watching a lady, have her eye brows put on permanently. OW! Don't think I could ever go threw that. She said it was worth it. Now they won't come off when she goes in swimming.

What??!! That's so cool! Good for you!
As for makeup, I use whatever I can get a good deal on, cheap or free works for me. I think I look just as good as anybody else and I get compliments on my makeup. I just go for color, not brand. Walgreens is always giving something free away -- I've got many different brands of foundation from them alone. I'm not knockin' the more expensive stuff; I just don't care to spend my money on it cause I'm a cheapskate.

I hear ya Alayney, I don't like to spend a lot of money on makeup
either. I'd rather spend my money on other things thats worth
it. That's why I did some research before I bought a more
expensive makeup (average $10) and went on Physicians Formula's
website. I know to some people this brand is not expensive, but
for me it is. I think its a step up on CoverGirl, Revelon, etc.,
but not as high as other makeup you get in a mall or Mineral
veil. That is why I chose this brand of makeup and it seemed very
good for your skin. Once I bought it, I loved it. I am so
happy I won the Grand Prize.
