HI  GUYS. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU WITH LONG HAIR USE THE COLOR DEPOSITING SHAMPOOS. I KNOW THEY ARE LESS HARSH THEN THE PERM. AND SEMI PERM. DYES, BUT ARE THEY OK? OR IS IT JUST BEST TO STICK AU NATUREL (sp?)  FOR HEALTHY HAIR.

No.  I don't.  But it depends on your priorities.  I value healthy hair over unnatural colors.  Can you get my color in a box?  I don't think so...

Henna is an option that a few that are growing their hair out are using. And there are other options that are better for your hair than permanent color. But once you start coloring you will have to keep it up.

Im trying to grow my hair long / with a giant haircolor difference.

Natural outgrowth is ash blonde and the rest is copper brown. I am going to have to get this corrected at some time but i figured that id leave it as long as i can and doing alot of deep treatments in the meanwhile.

I think that one of the things I have learned from this forum is to be able to love my own natural haircolor.
