I've kinda fallen into a rut as far as my hair goes. I recently got two trims a little more then 1/2 an inch more in some areas, and I have found my self just washing my hair air drying in a bun and not taking it out for like 2 days untill i wash again. I have just become really bored with my hair. The point of all this is I am thinking about getting micros. Has any one on here had them, or does any one have any tips on taking care of them? I've had them before but I did not take care of my hair at that time, and I am sure I did a ton of things I shouldn't have. So if any one has any matinance tips, PLEASE let me know!!

TIA

micro are very  damaging why not try afro twist or a sew in weave which are better protective styles.

I currently have micro braids, and I have had great sucess with them. I think the key to maintaining good micro braids is taking care of them. They shouldn't be too tight, especially around the hairline. I also wash my hair/braids at least once a month to get rid of the build up. I have had great success so far.
