i've had my hair done a few weeks ago, maybe a month..i had to finally to a wardrobe reveal and let my own hair out..after years of wearing weaves...thanks to the beautician who saw fit to use great lengths..

i forgot how much work keeping the hair strong and healthy takes...i was complaining to my boyfriend (who's caucasion - he's my beautiful bald headed italian) about how much work it takes..and he said.."girl, when i HAD hair, i had to do the same thing, wash, condition, moisturize, and deep condition twice a week, in the salon..i had my head stuck under the drier with my textbooks, or auto magazine, just like you women, no kidding."

i was kind of floored..now that i think about it..we didn't think twice seeing a few Marines in our shop getting facials in San Diego...nor did we think it a big deal in caucasion and African American shops to see young males getting their hair permed, washed, conditioned, cut and styled...or asian shops for that matter...

Man, have i been out of touch just going to extensionists..

Yeah men seem to be jumping on the grooming wagon big time!
I like it cuz they all look good and there's no reason they shouldn't pamper themselves either. But on the other hand I'm like, 'but wait then that means I have to groom myself even MORE!' hehhe. Whenever I meet a man though the first thing I look at are his hands, if his nails arent atleast short and clean and filed theres no way hes touching me! :)

well, i learned a thing or two from my former beautician..when you first meet a guy, look at his...shoes..if he's not wearing "quality" shoes, and he's walking around in something that looks good but cheap, then he'll treat his woman the same way..
