So, since I have such a short length to start with for the growing out
process, I decided I would care for my locks the best way I can so that
when they do reach my goal length, they are perfect. Anyway, I wanted to share my discovery with you all! I read an article in a magazine about this line called Paves Professional. I went to Walgreens and it turns out that they were having a sale (Buy one @ $5.99, get one free!), so I bought this Paves Professional Flawless No Sulfates Allowed Repairing Shine Shampoo, and the Paves Professional Flawless Un-Damaged Goods Deep Repairing Conditioning Milk. Although I do not have dry or damaged hair, I decided to give it a try because I really like the idea of there not being any Sulfates in its ingredients list. Plus, the conditioner is chock-full of so much good stuff, I can't believe it: soybean oil, olive oil, shea butter, avocado oil, roman chamomile, wheat protein, ginseng root...etc. Anyway, I LOVE, love, love the line and I wanted to share it with all of you. I also bought this Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo. It "Instantly removes up to 90% of dulling residue." Since I am not too thrilled with the idea of putting vinegar in my hair, I thought this shampoo would be good for me. I like it very much so far! Hope all is well for everyone! You are loading your hair with oil and that will take your curls away. This product is much better suited for a person who has straight hair,damaged hair or both - you have neither. also bought this Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo. Honestly, right now I am not concerned with the curls because my hair
is so short I don't wear it curly anyway. And this product makes
my hair feel softer and healthier than any other I've used. I am
using both the Paves Professional line as well as the Garnier Fructis
Long and Strong. Both work very well in my hair. The Neutrogena anti-residue I am only using once every other week or so, because my hair does not get very dull often. I rotate between a few of my favorite shampoo/conditioners thus never really causing much build up, but I like to clarify every once in a while. I really really hate vinegar, lol. I wish I could explain it, but the scent makes me EXTREMELY nauseas. Thank you though!! -------------

| Hmm, I might have to try this stuff. My hair is already past shoulder length, after 3.5 years of growing it, but it is damaged and colour treated, so it needs a boost. Plus, the water here is hard, which is killing any softness my hair used to have :( |

Hi Kimberlily, Do you follow-up your Shampoo & Conditioner with a diluted vinegar rinse? It helps rinse away the minerals and will leave your hair softer. Try it, if you don't already.  ------------- |

I do use a vinegar rinse, actually. It does help, so despite the fact that my head smells like vinegar until my hair dries, I do it anyway. I dilute it to a 25% vinegar 75% water ratio, so the smell isn't as strong. Crazylady, once your hair is dry, there's no smell at all. |
