I WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO CUT ENDS IM HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING INFORMATION..IF ANYONE HAVE INFORMATION I WOULD BE SO GRATEFULL...

Well it can be hard to describe but I'd suggest going to a salon and if you can't afford a salon goto a Cosmetology School and get it cut by a student. They usually take great pride in their work and they are always under the observation of trained professionals and it will cost you a fraction of the cost of going to a salon in many instances half price or less. If you must cut your own hair or trust a friend to do it you can try it but get yourself a professional pair of hairstyling scissors and I don't mean from your local retailer. Goto a Beauty Supply Store, but a quality pair of shears will cost you $50 or more and the chance it would even come close to what you'd get at a Cosmetology School for about $6 - $10 would probably pale in comparison and you'd end up going to a salon to have it fixed again and having more length taken off. Alot of cutting hair has to do with findamentals such as head position, maintaining tension while pulling the hair down thru your fingers with one hand and cutting the hair below to create your guide with the scissors. Little fundamental things such as only moving the blade of the shears that your thumb is positioned in to cut the hair. It's not something that comes naturally the first time someone tries to trim someone's hair. It's not as easy as it looks. I would definately recommend a Cosmetology School if you can't afford to goto a salon to have the ends of your hair trimmed. Be sure to convey to the student how much hair you want cut off....be specific and be gentle....students are nervous but eager to please the customer.....treat them with the same respect you would a professional because in due time they will be in the salon industry too and you just might find someone to call your stylist. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS INFORMATION HOWEVER I REALLY WANTED TO LEARN MYSELF JUST IN CAUSE SOMETHING COMES UP AND I HAVE TO DO IT MYSELF..BUT I COMPLETLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING BECAUSE IF I MESS UP MY HAIR I WOULD  LIKE A BABY SO ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU..

| I've never had a problem trimming my own hair, probably because I dust my ends and not really trim them. I do that every so often and my hair is fine. I use to just watch my stylist when she did my hair and I went off of that. |
