I just want to say thank you all for all the advise that has been given on this board. I thought Id share some pics of my hair after taking better care of it. Its still abit dry but Im getting somewhere

My hair has never looked this wavy. This pic is of airdryed hair and I have not combed it out.

Its only a small picture but everyone else has been so kind to share their pictures so I thought why not

Your hair looks great!  I have no idea what it looked like before because I'm kinda new, but from that picture it looks beautifully wavy and shiny.  Your hair looks very similar to how mine would look if mine were longer...but keep up the good work!

LOL

Thanks everyone!

Tiramisu; If you look in my hairjournal I have a before picture with some horrible looking layers. Yes, I read that you have really thick hair, so do I. Sometimes it can be a pain (like on washing day and it never dryes) but on some occations it can look good aswell
Maybe you have some tips on good hairdoes for thick hair?

Skzz: Thank you  That's very kind of you. I look forward to hearing how your hair is coming along. Keep us posted

AnaisSatin: Aww Im no way near a princess but coming from you that means alot. I look forward to being able to do figure eight-buns and other hairdoes that look smaching in long hair. Perhaps I will ask for your advise when that time comes

Ahhh, I totally do have some good suggestions for thick hair styles.  I actually posted something similar on another thread...it's the one before this one that is entitled, "Updos for BSL hair" or something along that line.  Read that post, hopefully that will help.  When my hair was a little longer, I often wore it like that!
Keep it up!

Gorgeous, Vicky!  I really like the color, and it's so thick, too.  Thanks for sharing your picture!

Thanks Dave and Starfighter!

Im glad you guys think it looks okay. Im no way near waist yet but that is my goal lenth, hopefully I will make it

Do you still think it can look thick and wavy when it's waist long?
Before when I have had long hair it just seemed to thin out and was really straight. Or can texture change? My hair was never wavy before either *lol*

Maybe.  One way to find out - grow it.   No matter what texture it has, though, it'll surely be beautiful!
