I have been coloring my hair for years, and now i want to do some crazy stuff again, i can't remember what i did when i was young, but help.

I naturally have very dark brown hair, and usually dye to black or natural black, and i put a hair color remover on to try and strip it all out (i need it to get to a very very light blonde so i can put my purple and blue in).

Now the hair is dark orange at the ends and graduating higher to dark blonde up at the roots.

I have bleach, i have hair color remover, i have toner.

It feels a bit damaged now after the first hair color removal attempt, but it can be conditioned back to health, i think.

How do i get all my hair to go and be nice and light blonde?

I read all over, but i got confused.

I love the color you have now. Then again, I love orange hair.

You should probably go to a professional then doing anything at home. Expecially bleach should not be done at home. That's what everyone recommends (although I have to say I've done it but not anymore and I never id get it right the first try.)

I've always hated the color orange, bleh

i'm too stubborn to go to a professional, so i'll probably mess with it anyway....the worse that can happen is that it'll fall out.

very well..i bleached it again and it got nice and light...the back ends are still a little darker than i'd like, but i'm probably going to give myself a haircut tomorrow so it should all be good.

i'm happy :)

Can we see another pic? I am at the in between stage with my hair and I'm not ready to lighten any more. Red is a bitch to get out...

here's the picture after..it lightened it a lot (it's wet, so it looks a bit darker on the ends)

but it's definitely as light as i need to actually dye over it now.

Yeah mine looked the same when I  first did it. But how can I get the ends to match the roots that are real blonde? Bleach again?

Use a protein filler and bleach again. Then your hair will be all the same
density (what's happening is processed hair, especially bleached, is very
porous and so it soaks up color unevenly. A PT should level it out).

Mine got plenty bleached, and i was able to get it the exact color that i wanted.  this was the final product.

 HI.

That's a lovely color! Are you a student or do you have a job that allows you to have your hair that way? In my profession there's NO WAY I could show up like that {although I'd love to}

I just got married and am currently unemployed.  My last job would not let me do something like that either...so i had to wait a while.  But my next job, i'm looking for something where they don't mind...so we'll see.
