Well I posted here when i first wanted to grow my hair but now ive been growing it for almost a year and I would like a mullet. I know its not the coolest hairstyle around but i was planning on getting a number 4 on the clippers on the sides and back (except for the bottom of course) and cut the top with a scissors and the fringe. then ill probably gel the fringe up and gel the top flat and i think it would be pretty cool. but heres the thing, my hair only covers my neck, it doesnt go down my back far so is it too short to have a mullet and would it just look weird? and because my hair is thick as i am from indian decsent and it kind of waves out to the sides and stuff it might look really bad... hair people, what do you think about my questions?

Here is a photo of the back of my head:

and i am a boy by the way. so please answer my questions and tell me if you think it would look good or bad for a reason. thanks guys!

grow the back of your hair long enough for  a mullet. be patient

cut the sides short and use straighning cream or just get is rebonded

can i just ask..

i also want to grow a mullet, but do you have to grow out the back of your head too or just the bottom of the back? because i want to shave my sides, but if i shave my sides and leave my back, it looks like an 'old school mullet'. i just wanna leave the bottom but shave my back and sides evenly.

and another question, lets say i grow my sides out long so they don't stick out anymore, should i get the top of my hair trimmed. as in, is it weird to have shorter hair on top than on the side? because i want to spike it. or should i get it layered
