"A Makeover Story" - Good Episode I just saw an episode of A Makeover Story called Outback Outfitting where the hosts goes to Australia and does makeovers on two girls who work at a zoo. One of the girls has mid back length wavy hair and just before her cut the stylist says something like "She has beautiful long hair so we're not going to chop it. And she already has layers so we'll just tidy them up." He barely cut anything off. Now it might have been as much as 3 inches but when she was done you really didn't notice a change. I went to the website to look for the pictures but this must be a newer episode. It's not on their B&A list yet. -------------

Astounding. Normally on thes make-over shows, the hair stylist automaticaly wants to chop the hair down no matter what. Was watching 'What Not to Wear' on TLC one time and there was this lady with beautiful Titian-red hair down to her waste. Yes - she needed a trim and shaping. But the stylist (who does do good cuts) took it all the way back up to the typical couple-of-inches-above-the-bra-strap length. It looked ok but rather ordinary. |
