I joined this site 2 days ago and i have learned so much! It is $30 a month for the hairvideopass and These videos are great. They have 9 hair extension how to videos and then a video called remove it which shows how to remove all types of hair extensions. They also have cutting videos which show how to cut and style your hair and your extensions. I reccomend this site to all diy's.  http://www.hairvideomall.com/extensionvids.htm - http://www.hairvideomall.com/extensionvids.htm

I have seen all his videos and they are very good.  He demonstrates a bunch of techniques for doing weaves.  If I can remember, I don't think he has any videos of any strand applications.

Hey, FabulousHairExt, I need your advice!

I have a Macintosh, and I've sworn off Windows programs, so no Media
Player & no RealPlayer, so I can't run those hair videos on my computer
for the $19.99 a month.

I'm looking to buy a pair of them for the $60 price, but I don't know
which ones to get! In the descriptions, they don't give common lingo for
the techniques they're using. Since you've seen them all, can you
recommend TWO videos to me that best match what I wanna do?

I'll be using amm's Shrinkies with bulk loose Plastikhaar, and I'll be doing
a full head (I'm guessing here, cuz I want a mane of full, thick long hair,
and I've currently got shoulder length "okay but not fabulous" hair, so a
full head install is probably the way to go). I'm pretty solid on the whole
melting the shrinkies thing, but as for where the heck I'm gonna put the
shrinkies, it gives me the heebiejeebies to go into it by just randomly
starting to place them all over my head. I'm afraid that could give me the
"I let my little brother have a go at my hair" look. And I could use a little
help in the color blending/placement, as I'll being using probably 3
colors.

Eternally grateful for any advice on videos that will help teach me to do
this!

I'm sorry kimberlyd but they do not have a shrinkie video. I dont think anyone makes a shrinkie video. My suggestion would be to get a doll head from sally's and practice on that. most of the people here learn new techniques on there doll heads.

Wah! Well, Sally's isn't up here in Alaska, and I didn't get the impression
on their website that they'd ship here either. Think I'll get the practice
head from Plastikhaar when I order my hair. For some reason I didn't
think to try it on a doll head first... Practicing! What a novel idea!
Apparently I'm lacking in the caffeine department.

Thanks for jumpstarting my brain before I started waving a sizzling heat
wand near my precious hair and scalp!

can you just purchase these dvd's?

Yes, you can just purchase them, 2 for $60, free shipping. Website
confused me at first because on the extension videos page, there's
nowhere to click to buy it. Go to the main page, www.hairvideomall.com
and from there click on the image of the video you want, and it'll take you
to a description page where you can add it to your cart for purchase. For
some reason, you can't do this if you're looking at http://
www.hairvideomall.com/extensionvids.htm , which is just extension
videos.
