it should be sharp enough if you just bought it, are you sure your using them properly? i dont know how to sharpen trimmer blades and if i did i still wouldn't do it, maybe you can ask your barber.

go back to the store where you bought the trimmer and ask them . or add  the oil for the trimmer.

Or you may have to buy some new blades. Contact the manufactor.

Sharpening clipper blades is very tricky. If you over sharpen, they will not work well at all. So don't try to sharpening them.

you shouldn't have to do anything if there are new, the problem probably is your either using them wrong, or there's something wrong with your trimmer. its either one or the other. none of us try to sharpen our blades so i suggest you not to try.

take them to your barber an let him tell you whats wrong with it and ask if your using the correct technique.

The clipper is brand new My barber said before he uses any clipper, first he dips it in alchoal, then lets it sit for a day and then he moves up the blade.

Are we talking about blade sharpness or was he talking about adjusting the blade so that it will cut closer? I use adjustable clippers for fades/tapers.

To adjust the blade on regular clippers that don't have the adjustable handle, just loosen the screws a little and slide the blade as close to the edge as possible.

Use a flat surface like a table to press down on the clippers and then tighten the screws. Make sure the blade is even on both ends.

Some peeps leave it uneven so one side will cut closer than the other side, but that takes getting use to.  You dig!

true. if i wasnt mistaken tho, i thought the box said it was one of the closest shavers out, or atleast they pride themselves on doing so. u might wanna try a razor for that crisp edge if thas wut ur lookin for. thas as sharp as it gets.

You know what companys will do for u to buy thier product, whatever it says on the box doesnt matter its ur experience with it.

360 that clipper you have is like top of the line cost like 40 dollars more than mine

i was speakin from experience... i have a pair. shaping up in the back comes with practice. u might not wanna start out edgin the back wit those andis clippers. a beard and mustache trimmer is easier to handle and smaller giving you more control. once u get the hang, u will be able to control the andis better.

Yea shaping up the back comes from practice. I took me quitt a while to learn how to do the back with a mirrow. The sooner you start the faster you will learn how to do it with no problems.
