Hi,

I'm growing my hair for about an year and half and without gel it's very dry, specially before I used conditioner and used to dry it with a blowdryer now it's a bit better but if I don't use gel my hair looks kinda ugly and undefined but still I'm looking for alternatives because gel kinda makes the hair a bit too static and lifeless. When I go cycling for example the wind makes my hair kinda messed up with more volume on the sides any advice on that? and my hair seems very thick on the back what haircut do you recommend? thx for any help.

Try a mixture of Sebastian potion 9 and Sebastian Laminates gel (it is just another version of the Laminates gloss drops, but it is not regular gel, and it won't dry your hair), that should soften out the hair, condition it and difine it. It will also add smoothness and shine. Mix both products together by rubbing your hans together, and then come though hair with a wide tooth come. Remember to use a clarifying shampoo at least once a month to remove any buildup. Paul Mitchell shampoo two, is exellent and it won't dry your hair. Try it, and let me know how it goes.

Setting lotion is a great alternative to gel.  It has a good hold and dosen't get crunchy and hard.
