About a year ago, I got highlights, and I really liked them, but they were too expensive to maintain. So in about April, I decided to dye my hair to my natural color. I did, but the dye ended up comming out some, so you can still tell where my highlights were. It really doesn't look bad, but i want to dye it. What would a good brand be to use?

If the dye you used was darker then the original highlights, the darker color would have covered up the highlights.  Also over time highlights do fade and eventually grow out.  So that is another possibility.

Did you dye your whole head, or just over the highlights?  I had a bad highlighting attempt once that I tried to dye over.  I dyed the whole head, and the highlighted parts were a little lighter than the rest, so you could see where they were.

Of course, that was better than light orangey stripes with white roots -_-; so I didn't complain.  But I digress. . .
