I am 22 years old and when I was younger (elemetary-early high school), I used to grease my scalp on a regular basis with no after effect.  It seems like things changed over night because, whenever any type of oil touch my scalp it will start itching. I don't know what to say about this because my hair started to produce its own natural oils. My all time favorite hairstyle is the wrap because its so convenient, my hairstylist uses oil sheen or glossy spray on my hair when I go to her (just enough oil so that it will not look dry), then maybe about 3 days later, my hair will start to get a silky look to it and I don't use any other oils on neither my hair nor scalp.
