sound familiar? lol

Anyway, got what was supposed to be a spiral perm a couple days ago-took a picture of what I wanted and everything. Showed the girl who's been cutting my hair for the past couple of years-said "Absolutely, no problem. I can do that." She had no spiral perm rods, when questioned about it, she told me she would piggy back it. She assured me it would have the same effect...NOT!!!! Now what I have is a "crimped" look-yeah the one from the 80's.

#1) Should she give me my money back?

#2) How long should I wait to get it fixed? by fixed I mean a real spiral perm

#3) What do I do in the meantime? I mean I do have to go to work and all. I have just been keeping it up in a clip for now.

Thanks-any reply will be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, well, its always going to be your decision whether you ask for your money back or not, depending on how bad you hate it, and how much you feel you did not get what you asked for.  If you really hate it, you can always ask.

I have never tried putting a perm over another perm, and knowing how bad just one fries my hair, I personally would wait until it grows out before getting another one.  That's not to say you have to, but if you go for another perm on the same hair DEFINITELY test strand a small piece first to see how fried its going to come out because you don't want your hair breaking off.

In the meantime, I'd probably use gel to smooth it and wear it up if you really don't like it.  Maybe after a few days the perm will de-wave a bit?  Depends on your hair type, but mine always did.
