Thoughts about when hair doesn't grow in a certain month
I was just thinking that when you get the same measurement from one month to another, maybe the longest hairs didn't grow but what if you have some shorter hairs that did grow? Everyone has shorter hairs. If you measured the same amount for a month or more maybe the short hairs were still growing?

That's a very positive and very possible thought.

It's also possible that the reference point (at the forehead) was not the same as the prior measurement.

It's also possible that the tape measure was not brought down over the very top of the crown of the head, as it was before.

It's also possible that the tape measure was not held as tightly as it was before.

It's also possible that the hair is more voluminous than before, especially if your natural texture tends toward curly.

The most accurate measurements are made by another person who is very fussy about getting the measurements precise.
