What's everybody's current wave routine? Mine is wash hair, spartan wave cream, and durag. I brush about 15 min after I take the durag off. I apologize if dis thread annoyz u vets, but help a brotha out.

BRush wit a soft brush abotu 30 strokes, (hard ones give u bald spots) pink oil, when it gets dry, then i take a shower, brush in tha shower, waves look nice and flat then i du rag it, put setting lotion in, brush that till it gets set in , du rag it, then start the process over

hard brushes dont give u bald spots if so its probably in da back and dats because ur startin at da same spot and goin different directions

Don't mind him, he doesn't speak very good English..
My method this morning was...
Wash
Blue Magic-coconut oil
Brush
Tiny bit of shea butter
Brush
WEt-n-wavy
Brush...
Durag

I just bough a spandex wave cap...i think this will work better than both durags and wave capps...it has a very firm, yet comfortable hold.

i use dax too

....durin my 10 week hair growth i used nu nile for two weeks, murrays for 2 weeks, n dax....then i went bak to nu nile n used ice wit it but i didn't lik the hol, my hair was to long for nu nile....i alwayz liked dax so i used that wit ice n.....

Bodyguard I got a spandex one to. I was using that when my first waves came in, but now I dont like it as much. But it do supress them mugs in yo head.
My method varies right now cuz i aint got school now but:
wake up fill bottle up brush for 15 min du rag(X2)
I might put in some pink lotion and wave activator jel.
If I go out now im just usin lotion and ice next week ill throw in some 360.

The spandex cap leaves lines in your hair,dosen't hold down properly,durag an wave caps are better.

I need to cop some of that ice pomade and then my wave collection will be complete. and I really need help on my sides. I already know which direction to brush, but there just not coming in all the way.

im getting my waves back for the first time in 5 years and i

wake up and while im at work brush

brush through out the day

wave cap while at work and through out the day

when in not brushing

use pomade every night before i got to sleep

brush 15min wave cap

dont wash hair for 2weeks wil waves get embeded

wash

hair cut

repeat my waves are spinin from from this method after two weeks
